About Laid Back Golf Club
The Laid Back Golfers Association was founded by seven friends who wanted to take a trip to Myrtle Beach for a three day weekend to play some golf and enjoy the fellowship and friendship of each other in an atmosphere of good faith, good weather, and good golf!
On March 3, 1996, the founding members Tom Varela, Geno Varela, Dave Van Nice, Chuck Seward, Richard Parrish, Joey Varela, and Gordy Schooler, took their first trip Myrtle Beach. Every year thereafter new members have joined our ranks and many new courses explored. Once a member, always a member, and with luck many more years to come.
